Justine Grover, affectionately known as "La Tinita", developed her passion for Flamenco when she was 9 years old when she began her studies with the esteemed Blanca Luz. In college she furthered her dancing by also enrolling
in ballet classes with her future mentor Giselle. Since graduating from the University of California Riverside she has continued to study flamenco and has trained in Spain with some of the greats including Angelita Gómez & María del Mar Moreno.
Tinita has performed throughout Southern California for more than 15 years and for the last 9 years she has brought Flamenco to Orange County high schools where she and her dancing partner educate Spanish classes on the culture and history of Flamenco. She is currently teaching Flamenco at the
Blanca Luz Academy of Performing Arts
where she enjoys passing her "Duende" on to the next generation of Flamenco enthusiasts.
